Just changed the oil and plug today, and the bike is acting squirrely. Only the third time on the oil change, first new spark plug. Maintenace, phooey!
The side stand safety switch crapped out. Tonight. If whoever posted the fix for this would e-mail the answer, it would be appreciated.
Does anyone else have problems with fuel line life spans? The one I put on last year is already rock hard and starting to crack. That makes twice since February 98 when I aquired it.
Here's a new leak location for you. I'm getting oil out of the back of the speedometer housing. The cable is sucking it up and spitting it out. It is normal for the cable to draw a very small amount but it usually bleeds back down afer the bike is shut off. The fittings are tight. Too strange.
Time for the clutch, rear brake, and belt adjustment again. 8139 miles, mostly stop and go riding, sure makes things loosen up quick.
Our closest Suzuki shop is a rip off. $7.69 + tax for an oil filter, $29.95 for the air cleaner. I hate to think what the cost will be for a set of SBS brand brake pads and brake shoes. For some strange reason, Lisa likes having both sets working. You'd think it was the Kawasaki shop, with the high prices involved.
Can anyone get the pieces cheaper where they are? I WILL NOT use JCW even for throw away items like this.
Catch ya'll later. It is 1108 PM here and I have one in-state, two out-of-state deliveries tomorrow.
